13 September: Vernissage at Beta Klinik: Edith Kuhlendahl on exhibition

Eyes taking a stroll, thoughts reaching for the stars and minds in a balance of silence and chattiness are impossible? Not at Beta Klinik on 13 September 2010. At 7.30 p.m. arts teacher and florist mistress Edith Kuhlendahl invites to her vernissage. The collage paintings of the artist from Rengsdorf are on exhibition at Beta Klinik for 4 weeks.

Painting: Global - getting closer, forgetting distances, experiencing the moment, finding common ground in a lack of understanding.

The collage technique of Edith Kuhlendahl´s paintings produces different fields of experience. On the one hand there is the combination of canvas, paint and other things resulting in a collage. On the other hand there are cards with words, word fragments or sentences generating new associations while looking at the paintings. Edith Kuhlendahl´s art establishes a bridge between what seems to be obvious and what has to be found in the synopsis of image and word.
