Arthroscopic knee surgery

Arthroscopic knee surgery for the preservation and re-stabilization of the knee joint

Our doctors are specialize in the treatment of knee injuries and disorders. Their motto is to develop a reasonable therapy concept that meets the individual patient´s requirements. Thanks to their extensive, innovative non-surgical concepts, they can postpone or even avoid performing surgery. However, they focus on knee surgery of all difficulty levels for the preservation and re-stabilization of the knee joint based on decades of experience.

Surgical services (mainly arthroscopic)

  • reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament with different tendon transfers, using their own surgery technique (makes quick and intensive rehabilitation possible)
  • reconstruction of the posterior cruciate ligament
  • reconstruction of the lateral and medial collateral ligament, often with cruciate ligament surgery
  • reconstruction of the MPFL (medial patellofemoral ligament) after kneecap dislocation
  • combined multi-ligament reconstruction after knee joint dislocation
  • revision surgery after failed first surgery as well as arthrofibrosis (restricted joint motion of the knee)
  • cartilage repair surgery: provocation of cartilage fiber growth (nanofracturing) or cultivation and transplantation of patient´s own cartilage cells (autologous chondrocyte implantation)
