Detection and therapy of cognitive disorders
In neuropsychology, we deal with the detection and therapy of cognitive disorders of the brain and the so-called higher cortical functions. These comprise memory functions, spacial orientation, the abilities to recognize images, things and faces, to understand language, and speech articulation. Furthermore, we examine your capabilities to control movements and to act in an organized way.
If you suffer from cognitive disorders or disorders of the higher cortical functions, we use various tests to determine the extent of the disorder. In order to treat you effectively, we work closely together with other specialized departments of Beta Klinik. Consequently, we can provide you with diverse and multifaceted therapy options, modules and methods.
Some of our patients have been referred to us from the neurology department (e.g., after an apoplectic stroke) and others from neurosurgery (e.g., after a concussion) but also from pediatric neurology and psychiatry.
