Dr. rer. nat. Dipl.-Pharm. Benjamin F. Seibt
Receiving a scholarship Benjamin Seibt studied and successfully graduated in pharmaceutical chemistry whilst simultaneously qualifying as an Expert Pharmacist for Drug Information. As part of his post-graduate doctorate, he worked at both the University of Barcelona (Spain) and also the Max-Planck-Institute in Göttingen.
He presented scientific posters and held presentations internationally, amongst other countries in The Netherlands, Austria, Spain and Australia and Japan. Benjamin Seibt works voluntarily for the board of the Nordrhein Chamber of Pharmacists. (as representative)
After his PhD, he travelled around the world with a tent meeting indigenous people on all continents and later working as a post-doctoral fellow in Australia for the University of Melbourne and also St. Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne.
Benjamin Seibt is the prize winner of the Bayer Phd thesis award 2013. In 2014 he was honoured by the Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand for his scientific performance with the “Young Investigator Award” in Canberra (Australia).
Together with PD. Dr. Schiedel and Dr. Mecking he set up Dr. Seibt Genomics in Bonn in 2013. Benjamin Seibt also lectures at the Rheinischen Fachhochschule Köln, the Malteser School in Bonn and as an emergency service pharmacist at St Martin Aphotheke in Bad Honnef.
