Sebastian Wille spent his childhood and early years in Kiel (Schleswig-Holstein). After leaving high school he studied Macroeconomics before going on to study Medicine in Marburg and Munich where he took and passed his third state exams.<\/p><p>Prof. Dr. Wille wrote his Doctoral Thesis with Magna Cum Laude on: \u201cFluorescence in situ hybridisation (FISH) in paraffin tissue as a diagnostic appliance in archieved cases with Trisomie 28 in question\u201d. After his specialist examinations he wrote his Postdoctoral Lecture Qualification on: \u201cIncontinence after radical prostatectomy\u201d. He qualified as Professor in 2014.<\/p><p>During his medical training, he was invited as a visiting physician to Manchester (GB), Preston (GB), Bern (Switzerland), Balboa (Spain), Marseilles and Lyon (France), Vienna (Austria) and Florence (Italy).<\/p><p>Prof. Dr. Wille spent many years as Senior Physician and Head of the Urology Clinic and Polyclinic in Cologne.<\/p><p>Prof. Dr. Wille offers the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic spectrum in urological illnesses with an operative focus on the treatment and handling of bladder dysfunction including incontinence, pelvic floor weakness as well as the treatment of cancers relating to kidneys, bladder, prostate and testicles. Further priority areas relate to male medicine and reconstructive urology including gender reassignment.<\/p><p>These surgical interventions are carried out at the Beta Klinik using the most modern, open surgical and minimally invasive techniques including laparoscopy and laser technology.<\/p><p>Prof. Dr. Wille founded a Continence Centre and contributed to the separate development of another Continence Centre and Prostate Centre. He also invented a measuring capsule for carrying out catheter free long term urodynamic function. (see YouTube: wille wica)<\/p><p>He is a member of many national and international urology specialist societies including the German Society for Urology (DGU), European Association of Urology (EAU), International Continence Society (ICS) and is widely recognised as a leading specialist in his field.<\/p><p>Prof. Dr. Wille is author and co-author of more than 120 scientific papers and publications; he holds two patents for medical products and regularly gives lectures at national and international congresses and symposiums. Additionally, he belongs to the Astellas \u201cOver-active Bladder\u201d circle of experts.<\/p><p>Alongside the classical school medicine, he also offers complimentary methods of treatment relating to bladder and prostate infections.<\/p><p>Prof. Dr. Wille is a passionate musician and has played piano and the keyboards since childhood.
