Statistically, up to <strong>90% of glioblastoma patients suffer a glioblastoma recurrence within two years after the first diagnosis<\/strong>. Often the first glioblastoma recurrence occurs even after just six to nine months. A <strong>recurrent glioblastoma<\/strong> usually grows faster and is more difficult to treat than the initial tumor, as it often does not respond or responds poorly to conventional therapies.<\/p><p>Many affected individuals wonder what the <strong>prognosis looks like for a brain tumor recurrence<\/strong> \u2013 particularly, what <strong>life expectancy exists with a glioblastoma recurrence<\/strong>.
