Piezo surgery

Piezo surgery is a young and very gentle surgical procedure based on ultrasound. With the help of Piezo surgery, the ultrasound waves are only transmitted to calcified tissue such as bones or teeth.

The intensity of the ultrasound allows fine adjustment for every individual tissue and tissue density. Tissues with a different density such as soft tissue, nerves or blood vessels are untouched.

Due to the fact that this technique involves no scalpel, the risk of injury for the surrounding soft tissue is greatly reduced. Additionally, the use of a Piezo ultrasound leads to a much quicker post-operative recovery.
