If necessary, we perform a targeted biopsy to determine the exact tumor type and important molecular characteristics. Therapy: Surgery, Radiation Therapy, Chemotherapy, and More

Our therapy concept in neuro-oncology is holistic and based on the latest scientific standards. Whenever possible, our neurosurgeons remove the tumor microsurgically as completely as possible – if needed, also as awake surgery to spare important brain functions. With over 1,000 performed awake surgeries for tumor removal, Prof. Dr. med. Michael Sabel and Prof. Dr. med. Marion Rapp are specialists in function-preserving awake surgery.
