Dr. med. Markus Klingenberg, M.D., studied human medicine in Bonn, Germany, and Zurich, Suisse combined with studies abroad in London (England), Innsbruck (Austria) und Boston (USA). After receiving his medical license in 2005, he worked at the radiological and cardiologic hospital of the University of Bonn, Germany.
From 2007-2013, Dr. Klingenberg absolved his specialist training in orthopedics/accident surgery in Zurich, at the Klinik am Ring in Cologne (Germany), at the Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus Bonn and the sporthopaedicum straubing/regensburg, Germany. Additional qualifications in sports medicine, chiropractic/manual medicine and emergency medicine complete his portfolio.
Since 2014, Dr. Klingenberg is the leading physician of arthroscopy (shoulder, elbow, hand, knee, ankle), foot surgery and sports medicine at Beta Klinik.
Being a sports athlete, Dr. Klingenberg successfully attended national and international competitions in judo and has been a martial arts, diving and fitness instructor. Contemporary, he has been an expert in functional training, fitness testing and personal training, guiding professional and non-professional athletes. He has also been writing for different print and online magazines.
Since 2009, Dr. Klingenberg has been a regular diving and emergency doctor at the Indian Ocean and in Africa.
